GMSA is working hard to help self-advocates in Vermont know what their rights are and learn how to stand up for them. As part of this goal, GMSA wrote and produced a video called “Our Bill of Rights.”

This video explains the different types of civil rights and responsibilities that people with developmental disabilities have. The video also shows what equality is really all about. This video is a great tool for learning about standing up for yourself, your rights, and the rights of others. It is also an excellent tool for training new staff hired to support people with developmental disabilities. The video is 18 minutes long (closed captioning in VHS only).
